GULF #9

LIMITED EDITION

HISTORY

The number 9 commemorates the first victory of the colors of Gulf Oil in the 24h of Le Mans in 1968, with Pedro Rodríguez and Luden Bianchi at the wheel of the Ford GT 40 #9 of the team of the legendary Jonh Wyer. Gulf would obtain two more great victories in the legendary French test. The second in 1969 with the #6 Ford GT 40 of the same team driven by Jacky Ickx and Jackie Oliver, and the third in 1975 with the #11 Mirage GR-8 driven by Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell of Gulf Research Racing.

The Urban Racoon 22 "Gulf Store by BEWATT" #9 thus pays tribute to the great feats achieved by Gulf Oil in the race par excellence, the "deux tours d'horloge", with a limited series of 9 units.
