Egoitz Bijueska: the new legend of Spanish skateboarding

At Bewatt, we love celebrating the great achievements of those who take the spirit of skateboarding and urban mobility beyond the limits.

A world champion at just 14 years old

At only 14 years old, Egoitz Bijueska surprised the world by being crowned champion of the 2025 Skateboarding World Cup in the park discipline, during the first event of the World Skateboarding Tour held in Ostia (Rome, Italy).

This victory is not just another trophy: it is one of the most impactful achievements in the recent history of skateboarding. Egoitz competed against established rivals and dominated the final with a series of technical tricks, fluidity, and surprising maturity for his age, achieving a score of 94.50 points that earned him the championship.

More than a victory: a message of ambition

Far from settling for success, Egoitz has already stated that his goal is to win a gold medal at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. His story —starting from a childhood hobby and reaching the top of the world— is an inspiring example of perseverance, talent, and vision.

Since he started skating in skateparks in Bizkaia, his progression has been meteoric: in May 2025 he became the first Spanish skater to complete the legendary 900 trick, a maneuver achieved by only a few in the world.

Skate and mobility: educating new generations

At Bewatt, we believe that skateboarding and electric skateboards share the same DNA: the pursuit of freedom, sustainable movement, and personal style. Egoitz’s feat not only puts Spanish skateboarding on the map, but also inspires young people —and not so young— to hop on any board with wheels and chase their goals.

Just as he has broken barriers in competitive skateboarding, we at Bewatt work every day to promote urban electric mobility, quality products, and a culture of respect for the environment and smart cities.

From Spain to the world

Egoitz has shown that Spanish talent has no limits. From Bilbao to the World Cup, his victory reminds us that Spain is about much more than football: there are true international leaders in action sports who are transforming global urban culture.

At Bewatt, we're proud to support and closely follow everything that represents movement, innovation, and a youthful spirit. And you… what personal achievement will you accomplish on wheels today?
