More than 4,000 professionals and 68,000 visitors attended the main cycling festival, which is held in Girona and the Costa Brava.

At Bewatt, we are proud to have been part of the latest edition of Sea Otter Europe, which this year reaffirmed its position as the benchmark cycling event in Spain. On September 19, 20 and 21, Girona and the Costa Brava became the nerve centre of the cycling world, hosting more than 4,000 industry professionals and 68,000 visitors, reflecting the unstoppable growth of this event. With the participation of more than 500 exhibiting brands and 6,000 cyclists in different events, Sea Otter Europe has not only broken records, but has once again demonstrated the strong link between cycling, innovation and technology.

In this edition, the Sea Otter Connect space witnessed high-level conferences and debates, where industry experts analysed both the current situation and the future of the cycling sector. One of the key points was the Euro Mobility Festival, which presented interesting proposals for urban and electric mobility. This festival reinforces its role as an essential meeting place for all those interested in new sustainable transport models, an area in which Bewatt is also firmly committed with our electric mobility solutions.

In addition to the professional aspect, Sea Otter Europe offered a wide range of sporting activities that captured the attention of both amateurs and high-level cyclists.

Such a diverse event could not leave out the little ones. During the day, the Girona Trial Cup and the Gravel Ride Tour Girona were held, a non-competitive outing that brought together 300 fans of this popular discipline. In parallel, the Ebike Day Girona was a space where lovers of electric mountain bikes could enjoy an outing in an incomparable setting.

Another of the great successes of the event was the Demobike, where hundreds of fans had the opportunity to try out the latest developments in bicycles and equipment from the more than 50 brands present. Over the three days of the festival, more than 4,000 bicycle tests were carried out on different segments: from mountain and gravel bikes to urban and electric models, allowing attendees to have a direct experience with the best of current cycling technology.

The closing of this eighth edition of Sea Otter Europe could not have been more successful, confirming its fundamental role in the cycling events calendar and consolidating itself as an essential event for professionals, amateurs and brands. It has already been announced that the next edition will be held from 19 to 21 September 2025 in Girona and the Costa Brava.

At Bewatt, we are excited to continue being a part of this incredible event and to contribute to the growth and evolution of the cycling industry. See you next year!
