The Community of Madrid, through its Department of Housing, Transport and Infrastructure, has trusted Bewatt to kick off the European Mobility Week.
The event was a resounding success, not only because of the quality of the attendees, but also because of the opportunity to share and discuss the future of sustainable mobility. We were honored to have the presence of Jorge Rodrigo Domínguez, Minister of Housing, Transport and Infrastructure of the Community of Madrid, and Jesús Moreno García, Mayor of Tres Cantos. Our CEO, Guillermo Álvarez Melero, and our Head of Marketing, Fran Morales, gave a masterful presentation on Bewatt's history, highlighting the wide range of products we have developed to transform electric mobility. In addition, our ambassador, Evangelina González, shared her inspiring experience with everyone, detailing the challenges she has overcome and the achievements made with our brand.
The debate on Sustainable Mobility, moderated by Belén García-Minguillán, Councillor for Economic Development and Innovation, was a real meeting point for ideas. Participants included María del Mar Sánchez Chico, from the Tres Cantos City Council; Raquel Manjavacas Quiñones, from the Móstoles City Council; Javier Cabeza Barroso, from Revenga Smart Solutions; and Santiago Velázquez, from Línea Directa. Each of their interventions provided valuable and practical perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing mobility in our cities.
One of the highlights was the intervention of the journalist Fernando Jáuregui Campuzano, who presented his study "Decalogue for change", offering a clear and well-founded vision of the future of transport. We also had the presence of our colleagues from the SAMUR-Civil Protection service, who not only participated in the event, but also had the opportunity to try our latest products, leaving with an excellent impression.
It was certainly an enriching day full of learning, where the foundations were laid to continue advancing towards more efficient and sustainable mobility.
